Healthier Multi Grain Waffles

Weekends are for breakfasts!  At least in my house it is.  A place probably like many other American households where daily breakfast with the fam is nonexistent and it's more like a cup of coffee and a protein bar while stressfully rushing everyone out the door.  Weekends are our time.  We wake up on our own, enjoy conversation, and start the day off the right way - with these multigrain waffles that are surprisingly sweet and toddler approved!  Honestly, I almost prefer these to the unhealthy kind because the textures make it all the more appealing.

I actually enjoyed them so much I forgot to take a picture until I was almost done, but here's the last little square..

Ingredients:
1/2 cup all purpose flour
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup rolled oats
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 1/2 cups almond milk
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla extract

Add the dry ingredients first, wet ingredients second, mix it up and you're good to go!

Mix it all together and spoon into your waffle iron as you usually would!  Enjoy! xo
