My Man Turns 30! And Other Celebrations

Saturday we celebrated my fiance’s 30th birthday!  It’s kinda a big deal and I am so excited about it because I know 30 is going to be such a wonderful year for him.  We didn’t do anything too outrageous and kept it local, but it truly turned out to be the best day I could have imagined!

He went to the gym early Saturday morning so I cleaned up the house and got gift wrapped while he was there.   I set it up on the kitchen table with his card, balloon, and a 30th birthday shot glass so he would see it when he came in.

Later in the morning we went to brunch with his family at one of our favorite spots, Ryleigh’s Oyster in Baltimore, MD.  It was delicious of course.  I had a mimosa and he enjoyed some of his favorite IPAs.  Great start if I do say so myself.
Veggie omlette. Yummmm!!!

Me and my love!

Soon to be in-laws!
Later, a bunch of our friends joined us for a nice dinner at Regions in Catonsville.  It was our first time here and i was really happy with the meal.  Most of all, it was so fun to visit with good friends, crack a bottle, and have some good, actual conversation.  Some of us came back to our house after dinner and nearly killed our bottle of Fireball.  We also sang “Happy Birthday” and had brownie sundaes for dessert.

I tried to hang while our friends were all there, but fell asleep on the couch in true Michelle fashion and was told to go to bed.

The next day... another celebration!  This time for my good friend’s baby #2 due in April.  Got to see so many great friends from home and many of my bridesmaids.  We restocked the diaper supply along with a few little extras.  Sprinkle success!

The pretty mama and I!

Me and my friend's son.  He is soooo snuggly!
In the afternoon, I headed back to a friend’s house to watch the football games.  I learned a new game called “intruder” and successfully made it onto the dart board my 2nd try.  Probably the hardest I’ve laughed in a minute.  When we got home, I tried to hang out with the fiance and watch TV on the couch, but again fell asleep in true Michelle fashion ;)
