I said it. Keeping up a good skincare routine will be a priority for me this year, particularly with an upcoming wedding. (Eek! :)) Through trying many different products over time, these are the ones that have stuck long term and have given me the best results for healthy looking skin, hair, and nails.
- Prenatal Gummy Vitamins. I have had all brands and all are fantastic, though I admit that CVS brand are the tastiest (not kidding). I am NOT pregnant, but decided there was nothing in it that could harm me, and being of childbearing age, it probably wouldn’t be a bad idea to take anyway. When taking them regularly, my nails grow stronger, my hair longer, and I feel as though my eyelashes have doubled in length.
- True Blue Spa sugar scrub and parafin lotion. O.M.G. is all I have to say. Yes, you need to use BOTH together to feel the full effect. Do this before your DIY manicure and you will never need to visit a salon again.
- I always use a dallop of Moraccan Argon Oil on my hair after I shower but before I blow dry. It gives it the extra shine and softness my hair needs and leaves me wanting to pet myself for the rest of the day. Just a little bit though or it’s too greasy. Made that mistake before.
- Bare Minerals Prime Time Foundation primer. This is the best primer I’ve ever had and goes on so easy. It’s the perfect base to apply your regular makeup and keep it looking great all day. (Unless of course you do not want full makeup, I’d go straight for the B.B. Cream.)
- Signature Club A Essentials Creme was a late night HSN purchase made by my mother who believes that anything she sees on that channel is gospel. I will admit, it was a great purchase and I have gone back several times to order more. It’s a one stop shop that I use morning and night and comes with a seperate eye cream all in the same container. It is super moisturizing without being greasy.
What products do you swear by?
I just found your blog!! I love the PreNatal vitamins from CVS. I just had my first baby in November and I still take them because they are so good:)
ReplyDeleteI know! I think I'd eat them like candy if it wasn't frowned upon :)
DeleteI absolutely love 2 & 3!! I need to try the others. I don't take prenatal, do I do take other vitamin combinations and love the way they make me feel. Stopping by from the link-up. Happy Friday!

I keep meaning to try Moraccan Argon Oil but haven't quite gotten gutsy enough to do it. I'm terrified of looking like a greaser! I love prenatal vitamins as well. For a while when we were trying, people would see me taking them and assume I was pregnant and not telling them. They didn't realize they have benefits beyond that!
ReplyDeleteLol as long as you just use a little bit, you won't! I also tend to use it while my hair is still wet vs. after I dry it which I think helps. I know you can do it either way though.
DeletePrenatal gummy vitamins are the best. I also plan on taking them for a long time. They really do taste good!
ReplyDeleteI'm taking prenatals right now because I'm preggers, lol. I think it is a good idea to take them regardless though. I am glad I found your blog, I just turned 30 this past year - and why yes, it IS the new 20! LOVE Moroccan Argan oil...I use a good one by Healthy Sexy Hair.

I am 5 weeks away from 30...freaking out here! Why does society make it such a huge deal to end the 20's and be 30 now. Geez. Great products...gonna try that oil for sure!
ReplyDeleteI freaked out slightly when I turned 30 as well.... but by 31 I realized it was a pretty great age. You'll love it!
DeleteCouldn't agree more than a skincare routine is crucial! I am a freak when it comes to my routine but I just hope it pays off one day! That true blue spa sugar scrub seems like it would be amazing! Thanks so much for sharing your favorite things with us!
ReplyDeleteI definitely look forward to my gummy vitamins in the morning. Target has AWESOME prenatal vitamin gummies as well. I'm sure they're all very similar. I haven't used anything from Sig. Club A in forever. They're the ones with the giant blushes and bronzers right? I need to check them out!
ReplyDeleteActually, I have no clue bc that is the only product I've ever used from them! I love it though so perhaps I should check that out too! Ha.
DeleteI love gummy vitamins! I actually find myself craving them! Moroccan oil has changed my hair. It's amazing!
ReplyDeleteI, too, have really gotten into a skincare routine since turning 30. Those gummy vitamins look good, isn't it funny how we still like the chewy vitamins at this age :) Here's a tip for your skin - get the clarisonic! It makes it so soft!
ReplyDeleteCoconut oil and Egyptian Magic always help get my skin through the winter!
