Weekend Recap!

Hey guys, happy Monday!  I hope everyone had a beautiful, fun filled Mother's Day weekend!  I am sorry to say that I actually did not see my mother this weekend, but I did just see her last weekend and will be spending time with her again this weekend coming up, so it's no big deal.  We're not really so into specific holidays anyways ;)  Anyway, gotta make this a quick one since it is passed my bedtime and a busy week awaits.

Saturday was a great day.  I had a productive morning of errand running, followed by a 45 minute nap.  I'd slept fine the night before, but suddenly could not keep my eyes opened.  Then I went outside to plant some of the flowers I had picked up, and after about an hour, had to come inside because my heart was racing so fast, you'd think I'd run a marathon.  I need another nap.  I may or may not have started crying because I feel like every time I try to do something productive, I develop narcolepsy and can't see anything through to completion.

Anyway, I did finally finish getting the dang flowers planted and took advantage of Starbuck's happy hour specials to give me an extra kick.  Ok, it was decaf, so I'm not sure how much kicking it was doing, but it was certainly a much needed afternoon treat.

That night my husband and I had a movie date on the couch.  It was my favorite night together in a long time because I was actually able to stay awake for the movie (and snuggling... thank you afternoon naps) and because the girls were sooo active and husband got to be right there to soothe them.  At one point my stomach looked like there was a freaking tennis ball sticking out of one side.  We're not sure if it was a head or a butt, but someone was definitely pushing her way through!

Sunday we hosted family dinner at our house in honor of my mother in law.  She's pretty awesome actually, and I really couldn't have asked for a better one.  We had cookout foods and sat outside and caught up until narcolepsy set in once again and I excused myself to get ready for bed.  Oh Monday, how I dread you....
