Surprise! It's Spring :)

Loving this weekend and the weather!  Just a few small successes over the weekend, but they were enough to get me ready to power through a 3-day work week before a four day Easter weekend begins.

Because I’m doing T25 with a co-worker, I can’t really do it on the weekends, so I hit my regular gym, Planet Fitness, on Saturday morning and was more than motivated to get through a quality upper body workout.  Not going every single day and switching things up has really made it easier to stay focused while I’m there, and for that I am relieved.  Especially since I ate a few not at all healthy sandwiches and drank a few too many beers this weekend.  Bikini body... you will not elude me this year.

Post workout shake.  Now I'm getting serious.

Daily Dose of Del Signore

I weeded all my gardens, spread the “weed & feed” stuff, and partially mulched.  I’m ready to start planting whenever I see something I love.  Or when the high school’s plant sale begins, because there I can get my flowers at less than half normal cost ;)

My highlight of the weekend though had to be the surprise party we attended for one of our best bud’s 30th birthdays.  He was shocked and the turnout was huge.  We were seriously all giddy with excitement waiting for him to walk in and we could all yell surprise.  One of our friends even bought noise makers.  It felt like New Years, only it was warm out!

On Sunday, we took our mothers to lunch where our wedding reception will be.  It was getting difficult to have conversations about plans without either of them having seen the venue, so we though we’d pop in for a look.  Now I’m even more excited. The next 3 months will be the best ones ever!  Let’s check out the countdown...

1 month ‘til shower!
2 months ‘til bachelorette!
3 months ‘til wedding!

So many exciting things to look forward to!  What are you looking forward to this spring?

  2. Visiting from the linkup -- thanks for sharing! Do you think T25 would be alright for a beginner? I keep hearing great things about it, but I'm so intimidated.

    1. I really do! There is one girl in the group who does modified exercises if you can't keep up with Shaun's style so it's really adjustable to anyone's abilities!

  5. I am doing T25 and I love it! I agree, switching it up from T25 and the gym makes it easier and more worthwhile when I am at the gym! Have fun the next 3 months! What a whirlwind of excitement! :)
