I'm Bonkers for Rompers!

Gosh darn you stupid fashion trends; you’ve done it again!  Gotten me completely and totally hooked on something that may or may not be cool a few years from now.  I’ve bought a few in the past, but now I need them in every freaking color and pattern.  Rompers. Dressy or casual, I feel like I can’t go wrong wearing one.

True, I may need to get awkwardly naked every time I use the bathroom, but I won’t let that stop me.  It’s a small price to pay for fashion, and at least I don’t have worry about anyone seeing up my skirt.  So here's just a taste of the things I've been lusting after...

ONE. TWO. THREE. FOUR. FIVE. SIX. SEVEN.

So, love 'em or hate 'em, I'm pretty sure you're going to be seeing a lot of them this year, especially on myself.  I'm even thinking of wearing one as bachelorette party attire.  I've even heard people are putting them on their bridesmaids instead of dresses, but I'm not going that far (unless they want to, because their dress is entirely up to them ;))  Looking forward to checking out all the new styles and figuring out all the ways I can wear my one-piece suit!

My first romper, from 2 years ago.  See, I knew I was on to something ;)

Thanks to Bella and Lisa for hosting the party today, as well as these guys of course...

  1. I think they're cute but could never see myself wearing one. However, I tend to always be late on trends. So see me in about a years time when they're fading out and then I'll probably be rocking one!

  3. I can honestly say I've never worn a romper. However, the one in your picture looks so amazing on you! I'm a little hesitant to try one myself. I never look cute in modern trends. No idea why.

  4. You look adorable! I have one romper. I love 'em but they don't love me. I'm so short I feel like it makes me look shorter and wider :(

    1. I'm only 5 feet tall! But, I totally agree with you that finding a romper (or skirt for that matter) where the shorts don't look like "mom shorts" is tough when you're petite.

  5. Oh my gosh! You and me both! I can't find one that I LOVE and I've been searching everywhere. I'll find one and like the pattern and look, but it doesn't fit right or vis versa. I'll be doing a happy dance when I find a good one though!

  6. Rompers look cute on you! I cannot pull it off. I think I would end up on one of those sites that displays all those horribly dressed people at Wal-Mart. LOL

  7. I love rompers!! You looks so cute in yours. I have a dressy one and two casual ones, but I need to buy more. Can't wait for summer!

  8. Some people (like you) can pull off rompers but unless it was a really casual wedding, I think I would have to draw the line on it being bridesmaids' attire! It doesn't exactly scream timeless clothing that will look good in wedding pics for years to come! Totally cute for day-to-day, though!

    1. haha oh I agree. I am only considering it for my bachelorette party, not for my bridesmaids! I did see this trend posted on a bridal site though and thought to myself that they will probably become the ugly "dresses" people will make fun of 20 years from now.

    1. Thank you! You do have to try a lot though to find the right fit. Some look good on the hanger and not right at all on your body!
